Le Caudan Waterfront Craft Market consists of forty stands set up on a double-floor open bazaar with warm tropical colours, in a unique atmosphere impregnated by exotic scents. The ceiling and columns displays the catching turquoise reflections of the Mauritian lagoon and deep green shades from the lush local vegetation. Walking through the stands, one can find colourful beach pareos, embroided linen, spices, basketwork, souvenirs made out of coconut, in wood or in glass, as well as a creative range of regional handicraft and cultural traditions from Rodrigues, Mauritius and Madagascar.
