E-ZONE @ CAUDAN
Le Caudan Waterfront is a wireless zone under the label 'e-zone@Caudan'.
Indeed, via the technical support of Enterprise Data Services (EDS), Le Caudan offers to its visitors, shops and offices free access to its Wi-Fi service on the community network concept.
Access to the Internet via 'e-zone@Caudan' allows connection for personal use and is limited to small operations (e-mail, surfing, etc). Downloading of heavier items (video, music, games) is not possible.
How it works?
To enjoy our Wi-Fi service, all one needs is a laptop or desktop equipped with a Wi-Fi card (or equivalent). The computer will connect automatically to the Wi-Fi zone which is on a roaming system, thus allowing the user to move around without the connection being interrupted.
Connection speed will obviously depend on the number of users online: the more connected surfers, the slower the speed. It is possible to buy an additional online package (minimum of 30 min) which gives specific access for increased connection speed to those who want to download or send heavy documents.
