PRESTIGE COLLECTION AND INTERACTIVE STAGING
The museum prides itself of the two issues of the famous "Post Office" dating back to 1847 and considered as two of the most precious items of the world philately.
The Blue Penny Museum collection also includes a series of treasures: old marine maps, paintings, sculptures, stamps, engravings and old documents that tell about the richness of Mauritian and history and culture. The collection is attractively presented through modern staging techniques, including sounds and light special effects and multimedia screens.
THE SOUVENIR SHOP
The Blue Penny Museum products are inspired from the Mauritius Commercial Bank's historical and art collection. Articles sold are of high standard, presenting a unique range of souvenirs from Mauritius, specially designed for the museum: postcards, posters, decorative objects and stationary.
